Feature list
CorelDRAW features
CorelDRAW features in Graphics Suite 2026 cover vector drawing, multipage layout, typography, photo editing, and prompt-based image tools. The notes below follow the publisher's product page and the 3 March 2026 release.
On this page
CorelDRAW is the vector and page-layout application. Corel PHOTO-PAINT edits pixels. Corel Font Manager handles the font library. CAPTURE is the screen-capture tool. CorelDRAW Web is the browser app, and the publisher limits it to subscribers and maintenance customers.
Check Windows and Mac requirements before you plan an install. Font count is a common startup complaint.
Applications in the suite
Desktop
CorelDRAW for curves, pages, and type. PHOTO-PAINT for layer-based photo work. Font Manager so a job can use faces that are not installed system-wide. CAPTURE for screen grabs.
Browser, if you subscribe
CorelDRAW Web stores projects for the cloud and opens in Chrome 142 or newer, Edge 142 or newer, or Firefox 145 or newer. The publisher says Firefox support is limited and the clipboard may fail. The 2026 web update adds a new home screen, the same AI tools as desktop, and more stable file handling.
Vector and layout
Drawing tools build curves, then Contour, Envelope, Blend, and Mesh Fill add effects. Symmetry, block shadows, and perspective can stay non-destructive, so the original object remains. A published comment from OCTO in Brazil singles out symmetry. Shaina Reyes, in the U.S.A., mentions customizable toolbars.
Pages
You can edit one page or many. Multipage view shows the pages together, lets you move objects between them, and lets you reorder pages. Multi-asset export builds a list of pages or objects, or exports every page. Object styles keep formatting consistent. The Objects docker can hide, rename, search, and restack items. Focus mode edits one object without a stray click clearing the selection.
Workspaces from older CorelDRAW or PHOTO-PAINT sessions can be imported, and shortcut keys can be reassigned.
Type and fonts
Type tools include block shadows, contours, variable fonts, and text on a path. Font Manager browses the library and can use fonts without installing them. Network font storage is part of that tool. The suite also lists direct access to more than 1,700 Google Fonts families, on top of more than 1,000 TrueType and OpenType fonts in the content set.
A Softonic note from 1 November 2019 said the app took so long to initialize that it could not be used. A later report tied trouble to about 2,800 installed fonts. The font guide walks through that case. Graphics Suite 2026 describes launch times about 3 times faster.
Photo and tracing
PHOTO-PAINT adjusts color and tone, removes blemishes, corrects perspective, and works in layers. One-click background removal is aimed at edges such as hair and fabric. Subject selection and clip masks can be refined after the automatic pass.
PowerTRACE turns a bitmap into vectors and can optimize the image while tracing. Dense embedded photos are covered in the guides.
Non-destructive edits
Bitmap and vector edits can leave the source object in place. The publisher names block shadows, symmetrical drawings, and perspective drawings as reversible, plus further adjustments in both CorelDRAW and PHOTO-PAINT.
AI Generate and credits
AI Generate is a docker on Windows and an inspector on Mac, in both CorelDRAW and PHOTO-PAINT. You enter a prompt, pick Flux, Stable Diffusion, or Nano Banana, set aspect ratio and image count, and optionally apply a style or a color palette. You can start from nothing, from a reference image, or from a sketch. Remix Image, using Nano Banana, is the tab for swapping elements or placing a subject in a new setting.
The publisher states that artwork made in CorelDRAW is not used to train its AI features or third-party models. Credits: 2,000 each month for subscribers and maintenance customers, and 2,000 once for a one-time purchase. Extra credits are sold by the publisher, not here. Credit rules are in the FAQ.
Print and files
Pantone color libraries are included in CorelDRAW and PHOTO-PAINT at no added fee. The 2025 release added Advanced Print to PDF: tile across pages, gang pages into N-up layouts, control spreads and binding, add registration marks and page numbers, and enable separations. Sign and large-format work is one of the publisher's named uses, along with a color-management and prepress story.
Files
The native drawing file is CDR. The publisher describes broad graphics, publishing, and image format support. CorelDRAW Web was documented with CDR, AI, and PDF. A 2025 note says you can save a CDR for an earlier version, and that newer brush, text, fill, outline, or transparency behavior may not survive that save.
PNG transparency reports and the version timeline are separate pages.
